Training of national judges in EU competition law EU COMPETITION LAW ENFORCEMENT BY NATIONAL COURTS  is an European project funded by the European Commissionand supported by Centre for the Judicial Studies (CEJ). The aim of the project is to give national judges a detailed knowledge of key issues in competition law (antitrust rules, state aid control and private enforcement and application of antitrust rules to regulated industries) as well as the practical usefulness of those subjectsallowing national judges to  correctly apply EU law.

Key Objectives 

  

This Project aims at to ensure coherent and consistent application of the European Union's Competition rules, namely articles 101 and 102 TFUE, articles 107 and 108 TFUE, and private enforcement rules - by national courts and to promote a competition cultura with the continuous implementation of the "Observatory on the Application of Competition Law".

between national judges”

“Training of national judges in EU competition law and judicial co-operation between national judges” is an European project funded by the European Commission. The purpose of the Commission is to contribute to a proper implementation of Competition Law from the European Union.

This project involves audiences such as Portuguese and Spanish magistrates, trainers, researchers and other professionals from different Member States.
