EU Law Observatory

About

The EU Law Observatory (EULO) was established at the Centre for Studies and Research in Law, Faculty of Law. It aims to support research projects on the application of European Union law in national legal systems and provide a platform that allows experts to share knowledge and experiences in order to assure a more effective implementation of the law. The EULO aims to develop studies and databases for specific fields, to propose reforms, including legislation, and monitor the implementation of EU law in certain areas by the courts and public authorities.

The purpose of the protection of the Special Vulnerable Victims Observatory is to evaluate the conformity between the internal law and judicial decisions and the European law, particularly in respect to violent crimes on children, women, elderly and people in institutional care.
